Our Story
Magnolia Landscape Architecture, Inc. was founded out of a passion for plants and the outdoors. Founder David Abadie, a licensed landscape architect in the State of Louisiana, began his career working at a local nursery during high school and college, gaining hands-on experience in plant care and landscape installation.
David earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University in 2004 and subsequently worked at a prominent landscape architecture firm in Atlanta, focusing on commercial and public projects. Upon returning to Louisiana, his work expanded to include multi-family developments and high-end residential projects.
In recent years, David has added commercial developments and stormwater management to his portfolio. He also teaches courses in green infrastructure and outdoor construction, helping others develop practical job skills in these areas.
Magnolia Landscape Architecture continues to be a valuable resource to the Greater New Orleans community, dedicated to enhancing Louisiana's natural beauty and helping others gain the skills they need to thrive in the industry.
